Unframed. A used disposable palette was attached to a cradled panel. Cigars and ash were then collaged to the surface muting or completely covering some of the colors that were mixed on the palette. Art has been found in materials that are essential to the artistic process yet cease to have any functional value once spent. In the Palette Collage Series I am exploring a repurposing to items that no longer seem to have value or function with a focus on old palettes.
